Organisation Support 

Development Officers are here to help your community group get off the ground. They are dedicated, passionate and experienced.

Whether a registered charity or an individual, a sports club or a faith group, a campaign or a community clean-up, no project is too big or too small. 

You don’t need to be part of an existing community group and you don’t need to be a member of staff—we also work with local residents, volunteers and trustees. At the end of the day, we want to help those who help others.

Our services include, but are not limited to, registering as a charity or company, securing grants and funding, and performing organisational health-checks.

We also provide bespoke in-house governance training for management committees and boards.

We create each session around your specific governing document so that we can meet the unique needs of your organisation and work on the issues that are important to you. If you are in the process of registering your charity or changing your legal structure, we will arrange the session once all governing documents are finalised.

We ask only for a contribution towards our time, materials and expenses. Prices are based on a sliding scale to accommodate all income levels, and we offer discounts for smaller organisations to keep this essential training affordable and accessible.
