The Bradford Safeguarding Adults Board is running a conference for safeguarding adults week:

Safeguarding Adults: A Multi-agency approach

“Bradford Safeguarding Adults Board is delighted to invite you to the Safeguarding Adults Conference on Thursday 21st November 2024. Join us to mark the national Safeguarding Adults Week where we will be launching the new multi-agency Self-Neglect Practice Guidance.

“Self-Neglect is a priority for all partner members of Bradford Safeguarding Adults Board, and the conference will provide an important update on our multi-agency approach to better understand and respond to self-neglect.

“At the conference we will also explore a multiagency approach to how we support adults at risk, and how to make a good quality referral to the safeguarding adults team. There will so be opportunities to learn about the legal framework safeguarding adults operates within.

“The conference will benefit organisations that work with adults, and those with safeguarding responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Voluntary, community and independent sector
• Housing
• Probation
• Police
• Adult social care
• Drug and alcohol services
• Health sector
• Fire and Rescue”
