• If your voluntary sector organisation’s annual income is £100,001 and above, the charge is £20 per person (non-refundable course fee). Before booking – read the cancellation policy and get permission to pay for the course.

Course content: DIY Fundraising

This course will share free and low-cost ideas to help your organisation get started and generate funds yourself, rather than relying on grant funding.

Participants will learn creative strategies such as:

• Community events
• Online crowdfunding
• Local partnerships and
• Leveraging online tools such as social media for donations.

By the end of the session, you will have actionable ideas to boost your charity’s income. We will also signpost to other tools, resources and sources of fundraising support.

Who can book?

Getting Started courses are exclusively for trustees, staff and volunteers from voluntary and community sector organisations in Bradford district.

This includes; charities, community interest companies limited by guarantee, faith groups, sports clubs, and other not-for-profit groups with a constitution.

Not part of a voluntary sector organisation? Not in Bradford district? Sorry, this course is not for you.

Will I get a booking confirmation?

What about the Zoom link?

Two days before the course everyone who books will get another email with the Zoom meeting details. We will also send an email reminder on the day. Remember to check your junk mail folder. We do not publish the Zoom link on the website. You must book a place to get the link.
