Getting Started – Manage a Project (online)

Cost- Free if your voluntary sector organisation’s annual income is up to £100,000.
- If your voluntary sector organisation’s annual income is £100,001 and above, the charge is £20 per person (non-refundable course fee). Before booking – read the cancellation policy and get permission to pay for the course.
Course content: Manage a Project
This course is aimed at organisations who are looking to expand or diversify their services by launching new projects. The workshop will cover:
- Planning and useful tools to help keep you on track
- Community engagement and assessing needs
- The building blocks of a project
- Basic finances; costings, full cost recovery
- Employing staff; what do we need to be aware of
We will signpost your to useful software and provide relevant templates to support your organisation to be successful.
Who can book?
Getting Started courses are exclusively for trustees, staff and volunteers from voluntary and community sector organisations in Bradford district.
This includes; charities, community interest companies limited by guarantee, faith groups, sports clubs, and other not-for-profit groups with a constitution.
Not part of a voluntary sector organisation? Not in Bradford district? Sorry, this course is not for you.
Will I get a booking confirmation?
Yes, you will get an automated email confirming your booking. Remember to check your junk mail folder. If you use more than one email, remember to check the mailbox for the email address you registered with.
What about the Zoom link?
Two days before the course everyone who books will get another email with the Zoom meeting details. We will also send an email reminder on the day. Remember to check your junk mail folder. We do not publish the Zoom link on the website. You must book a place to get the link.
