Course content

The course is a practical guide to the duties and responsibilities of a Safeguarding Lead in a small to medium-sized organisation, which has low-risk activities. It covers areas such as trustee awareness, training, required policies and procedures and how to deal with a concern or disclosure.

Who can book?

Half-day courses are exclusively for trustees, staff and volunteers from voluntary and community sector organisations working in Bradford district.

This includes; charities, community interest companies limited by guarantee, faith groups, sports clubs, and other not-for-profit groups with a constitution.

Not part of a voluntary sector organisation? Not working in Bradford district? Sorry, this course is not for you.

Will I get a booking confirmation?

What about the Zoom link?

Two days before the course everyone who books will get another email with the Zoom meeting details. We will also send an email reminder on the day. Remember to check your junk mail folder. We do not publish the Zoom link on the website. You must book a place to get the link.
