Volunteers Week

As part of our work on the Shaping the Future national volunteering programme, Community Action Bradford and District is hosting a ‘Volunteering Roadshow’ as part of this year’s Big Help Out and National Volunteers Week. The backdrop is a report we produced earlier this year that highlighted issues around volunteer engagement, including public levels of volunteering awareness of various national charities. A copy of this report is available for reference.
Volunteers Week and Big Help Out Volunteer Fair Roadshows:
Tuesday 4th June 10.30am-2.30pm, The Broadway Shopping Centre, Hall Ings, Bradford, BD1 1JR
Wednesday 5th June 10.30am-1.30pm, Shipley Library Enterprise Hub, 2 Well Croft, Shipley, BD18 3QH
Thursday 6th June 10.30am-2.30pm, Airedale Shopping Centre, Keighley, BD21 3QQ
The aim is to reach out to the public, increase awareness of your charity and the available volunteering opportunities.
How to Book
If you would like to attend on any of the above dates please contact Chris at chris.bulmer@cabad.org.uk to book on stating your preferred location. Lunch will be provided, cheap parking is available near all of the sites and you can attend flexibly if you cannot stay for the duration of the hours stated. You can have an allocated table to display your materials and pull-up banners. Tables are limited so will be allocated on a first come first served basis, although hopefully we can host everyone interested across the 3 venues. All the venues are public spaces so hopefully footfall and interest should be good.
