Course content: Role of trustees

• Key guidelines and advice for individual trustees and for the board as a whole.
• Understanding your organisation’s legal structure.
• Conflicts of interest and how to deal with them.
• Making joint decisions.
• Meeting reporting requirements.
• Where to get more help and advice.

This is an open course so there will be trustees from more than one charity in attendance.

In-house option

If you would like to train the whole trustee board, you can arrange in-house training just for your organisation and it will be tailored to your governing document.

Who can book?

This course is exclusively for trustees, staff and volunteers from voluntary and community sector organisations in Bradford district.

This includes; charities, community interest companies limited by guarantee, faith groups, sports clubs, and other not-for-profit groups with a constitution.

Will I get a booking confirmation?

What about the Zoom link?

Two days before the course everyone who books will get another email with the Zoom meeting details. We will also send an email reminder on the day. Remember to check your junk mail folder. We do not publish the Zoom link on the website. You must book a place to get the link.
